How to play LETRIXA
The rules fit in three steps. The full rules, scoring table and tips are in our Boggle-style game guide.
Link letters
Tap or drag across letters that touch each other — horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Each tile can only be used once per word.
Form valid words
Words need at least three letters and must be in the dictionary of the language you’re playing. Valid words light up green.
Go for long words
A 3-letter word is worth 1 point; an 8-letter word is worth 15. Longer words pay off, so look for prefixes and endings.

Frequently asked questions
Is LETRIXA free?
Yes. LETRIXA is free to download and play, with ads. Premium is an optional one-time payment that removes ads and unlocks extras for five years.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start playing instantly. An account is only needed to buy Premium and keep your progress across devices.
Does LETRIXA work offline?
Practice, bot mode and the daily challenge can be played without a connection. Real-time 1v1, rooms, duels and rankings need internet. More in our offline word game guide.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. For now LETRIXA is only available on Android, through Google Play.
How does scoring work?
Each word scores by length: 3 letters = 1 point, 4 = 3, 5 = 5, 6 = 7, 7 = 10 and 8 or more = 15.
Is LETRIXA the same as Boggle?
No. LETRIXA is an original game inspired by the classic letter-grid format, with online multiplayer, ELO rankings and dictionaries in 12 language versions. It is not affiliated with Boggle or Hasbro.
